Closer Song by [[|]] Recorded 2016 Genre Pop "Closer" was a demo Camila recorded for American DJ/production duo The Chainsmokers, which was later given to Halsey. A 10-second snippet of the demo featuring Camila's vocals was leaked.

Camila was asked to be on the song after she recorded the demo but turned it down because of Fifth Harmony's second studio album 7/27 being released soon after the song would've been released.
